Scottsdale Arizona's Next Shoe Craze? Ultra High Heels.

Looking to make a major summer purchase? Perhaps the right pair of shoes is what you have a hankering for. If you're out she shopping this summer you should have one thing on your mind. High Heels, and thanks to the new summer designs, you can put the HIGH back in High Heels. This summer extreme heels are in, so get ready to look glamourous.

These Christian Louboutin “Alta Bouton” Ankle Boots may just be the hottest pair of heels to hit Camelback road since the high heel was created. And of course, they were masterfully sculpted by, Christian Louboutin.
These heels combine sex appeal with elegance, while adding some incredible height at 6 1/2 inches these peep toe boots are made to stand out. The boot is also reminiscent of the classic Victorian-era shoe, but Christian Louboutin has put his modern and beautiful spin on this pair of heels. If  you are in need of a graceful lace up boot, you can find these for $1,495.00 a Saks.

These Valentino Peep-Toe Lace d'Orsay Pumps are the perfect mix of delicate lace shapes accentuated with a beautiful bow-top. This set of pumps add an addition of flirtiness from the peep toe and sex appeal from the curvy d'Orsay cutout - displaying the arch of the foot at its best. Subtle, yet uninhibited. A little bit of extra lace never hurt anyone, but the sheer allure and artistry from these shoes will surely cause a stir wherever you wear them. The 5 inch heel on these delicately crafted beauties are just another reason to love them. $885 at Saks.

The 8 inch Exquisitely Satin Flower Platform Sandals by Gianmarco Lorenzi ($978 at FarFetch.com) are beautiful. These exquisitely crafted platforms look more like art then something you'd wear on your feet. With an electric blue as the backdrop, the large satin and beaded flower takes center stage and immediately grabs your attention. As though the over-sized flower wasn't bold enough, the blue-green cut out mega platform gives more height than you have ever dreamed of.

Fall 2010 Grunge Comes BACK to Scottsdale.

Maybe you would rather never get out of bed than leave the house looking disheveled with just a touch of greasy hair and a band tee shirt on underneath an unbuttoned flannel shirt, but chances are at some point in the 90's you too took part in this roll out of bed grunge look. Well to continue the summer of retro trends it looks like fall of 2010 will bring back the "Nirvana 90's" Teen and young adults everywhere will be sporting this look, and rocking their plaid, flannel shirts. Here are some things to remember when you break out your grunge look this fall.

1. Grunge style is defined by natural fabrics, fashioned into timeless work-wear styles. During the 90's these clothes were worn with careless ease and relaxed nonchalance, in fact the less effort it look like you spent, the better your outfit was received. However the times have changed, and the grunge look the 2nd time around will be more about getting a get fitting item and combining it with the ease of the natural fabrics. Half the challenge of wearing grunge well is the attitude, the other half is going to be finding fabrics that fit your body and accentuate your best features.

2. The 90's grunge style was pulled off by people who believed in themselves first, then their clothes. They wore old clothes in natural fabrics, in traditional colors. Returning to this look is more about self-confidence than just buying something off the rack. Don't be scared to spend a little less time in front of the mirror getting ready, just put on your garb and ooze confidence.

3. Keep in mind you don't have to become a full on Seattle rock star to sport a little grunge. As Rihanna shows us here on a shopping trip, you can mix and match to find a level of comfort you're ok with.

Phoenix Suns Fashion Trends 2010 NBA Playoffs: Be Prepared

Phoenix Suns fashion has come a long way since their Conference runs in 2005 & 2006, but the Suns are back in the Western Conference Finals again, and finally sports fashion has caught up to The Valley's tastes. For the past few years celebrities have been spotted wearing the ultra soft, and ultra high-end Retro Sport, and its Adidas counter-part the Originals Collection product all over Hollywood. This is one of the many times Jessica Simpson was snapped looking stunning wearing her soft Texas tee and an army style hat.

The great thing about both the Retro Sport brand and the Adidas Original Brand is they have recreated your favorite old t-shirt by combining all the qualities of a great fitting t-shirt with classic logos from the past and present. They have taken a once boring and out dated white Suns shirt and turned it into a must have tee that you'll actually want to wear, even on non-game days.

Another nice thing about these two brands is they haven't left anyone behind, not only do they make great women's clothing often seen on celebrities like, Jessica Simpson (pictured above) Kim Kardashian, Asha Blake, and many other leading Hollywood ladies, but they haven't forgotten about the guys either. In fact even more male Celeb's tend to be spotted wearing the brands; guys like Mark Wahlberg, Yannick Noah, Ashton Kutcher, Tom Arnold, Adam Sandler and many others have often been seen throwing one of these tees on for a night on the town of just a day at the park. If your looking for a great section of Suns Adidas Originals product there is no better place in the Valley to find it than Just Sports, they have locations all over the valley and offer by far the widest selection of product. If the retro look isn't your thing they also have a huge new selection of Suns product to fit any fashion trend you may want to follow. Here is a sneak peak at some of what they will have to offer for this "Beat LA" week.

Scottsdale Arizona Swim Suit Trends 2010

The 1st Arizona trend for swimwear in 2010 is a color explosion. The Swim Show runways were filled with color and more color this year. From saturated jewel tones to bright eye popping reds and even the neons reminiscent of the 1980s are back for yet another swim season.

The 2nd big Maricopa Swimwear trend for 2010 is all-over graphic prints. We've seen popular graphic prints in clothing for a couple of years, in fact the over-sized all over-print tee has just about run its course, but in the 2010 swim season graphic prints are really going to become become huge for swimwear.

The 3rd Phoenix Valley Swimwear trend for 2010 is one-shoulder styling. This is a nice innovative idea in swimwear. One-shoulder styling has been a popular trend for tops for many years now, and now swimwear trends reflect this asymmetrical design too. You will be seeing a lot of varieties of the one shoulder styling on anything from a one-piece, to a bikini and of course on the cover-ups.

And last but certainly not least one of our favorite looks for Scottsdale  for 2010 is string embellishment. We've all seen the girls flaunting in their string bikinis, but the 2010 swimwear string embellishment trend is totally different. Designers are using strings as part of the style, to add to the sexiness of the couture itself. These embellishments are just for decoration and not as part of the garment's structure.

5/31/09 Scottsdale, AZ Swimsuit Fashion

Yes it is already that time here in the Valley, pool-party time. The pool-party presented by 944 Magazine and called Poolside Sundays at the Mondrian, gave us the perfect chance to check this years suit trends.

Three styles stood out beyond the rest. The first look isn't for your parents pool party. This is a suit obviously inspired by lingerie. The frills, combined with the pink on black are sure to turn heads, if you are bold enough to bare this look to your next poolside event. If you are looking to go a little wild, maybe cut loose more than normal, this might be the suit for you.

Look number two is the perfect combination of sexiness and class. A look that can be worn to almost any pool event, boasts a barely there skirt with an inverse matching top. This was our favorite look, because of its versatility and combination of bombshell and quasi-coyness.

The third stand out suit was an in your face explosion of color.

6/3/09 Scottsdale Arizona Fashion Trends

This week's hottest Scottsdale venue was American Junkie's Rockstar MotoX, and three trends clearly stood out as being "the in styles." The evenings most worn look was elegant. Shown here as a "Nanette Lepore 'Larkspur' Sheath Dress" $395.00 at Nordstrom. These BRIGHT, single color slips with neck embellishments were everywhere. This ultra-dolled up look exudes grace and class, and the bright solid body color is sure to draw attention.

The second look also incorporated bright colors, but this time they are paired with more youthful patterns. Shown here as The "Milly Necklace Dress" $375.00 at Neiman Marcus. These dresses were full of colored patterns and glowed with silky smooth shimmer. This fresh summer look combines the elegance of the smooth fabric with the playfulness of the bright patterns, that scream summer. This playful and classy look is a perfect bridge between the opposite looks of one and three.

Look number three is all about fun. These mostly natural fabrics have a flare of the 60's combined a touch of the now. Shown here as the "La Rok Fringe Mini Dress" $228.00 at Neiman and Marcus. These hippy inspired loose fitting dresses are all about cutting loose, this style clashes loudly with the "done up" look number one, but that didn't stop anyone from having fun.
